CM inaugurates & lays foundation stones for projects worth Rs 237.35cr in Nuapada

NuapadaChief Minister Naveen Patnaik Monday visited Nuapada district and inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 39 development projects worth Rs 237.35 crore.

Landing on Gotma airstrip helipad here at 11.35 am, the Chief Minister headed towards the convention venue. While the inaugurated projects have been built at an estimated cost of Rs 132 crore, the projects for which foundation stones were laid will be built at an estimated cost of Rs 105 crore.

 

 

Inaugurated Projects:

  1. Three High Level bridges over Nuagaon Nullah (stream) along Khariar-Boden-Sinapali road, Gandabahali-Farsara-Boden road and Komna-Kandetara road patches
  2. Newly-built Nuapada District Headquarters Hospital (DHH)
  3. Saipala-Nuapada Biju Expressway and State Highway (SH)-3-Junani road
  4. 33/11 KV Power Sub-Station under Saipala and Khariar blocks
  5. 100-seated eight girls’ hostels and 100-seated three boys’ hostels under Komna, Nuapada, Boden and Sinapali blocks
  6. 200-seated two ST boys’ hostels under Komna and Nuapada blocks
  7. Newly-built Nuapada Toursim Office
  8. Five Water Supply plants and other projects under Sinapali and Komna blocks

 

 

Foundation Laid Projects:

  1. Construction of six road projects under Boden, Nuapada and Komna blocks
  2. Construction of five high level bridges under Nuapada, Boden and Khariar blocks
  3. Construction of Nuapada District Library and Mendhatal High School under Komna block
  4. Construction of Mega Pipe Water Supply plant for Talkot, Maheswar and peripheral areas under Sinapali block
  5. Construction of Litiguda Small Irrigation Project under Sinapali block
  6. The Chief Minister also addressed the farmers of the region on his government’s ‘KALIA’ scheme and distributed assistance among the beneficaries of various welfare schemes.

 

 

He also attended the Mission Shakti convention there and distributed seed money and digital empowerment assistance to the women SHGs as well as financial assistance to the block-level SHG Mahasanghs (federations).

Besides, assistance to the construction workers and homestead land rights to the landless slum-dwellers under the Odisha Government’s JAGA Mission scheme were also distributed.
