Sambalpur: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Tuesday distributed Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) Smart Health Cards at Kuchinda in Samblapur district.
Naveen will also inaugurate and lay foundation stones of several projects here.
The entire programmer was held with limited guests sharing the dais with the CM, observing the Covid-19 guidelines.
All those who attended the event, starting from beneficiaries, journalists, police and district administration officials, underwent RTPCR test, it was learnt.
It is worth mentioning that on the occasion of 75th Independence Day, the CM had announced that his government would provide Smart Health Cards under the BSKY.
Beneficiaries of national and state food security schemes, Annapurna and Antyodaya initiatives are getting the cards.

Notably, the CM had visited October 22 Mayurbhanj to distribute the cards. Prior to this, he had distributed the cards in Deogarh digitally October 4. In Titilagarh, he had distributed cards September 22.
Worth mentioning, the CM had launched the distribution of Smart Health Cards in Malkangiri district August 20.
The holder of Smart Health Cards will get free treatment at all government hospitals in the state and more than 200 private hospitals in the state and outside.
