CM rolls out projects worth Rs 1,575cr in Chandbali

Bhadrak/Chandbali: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik went on an inauguration spree in Chandbali area of Bhadrak Saturday. He inaugurated 18 projects worth Rs 397.46 crore and laid foundation stones for the same number of projects worth Rs 1177.86 crore. Chandbali got projects totaling Rs 1575.32 crore.

Three of the projects were in Bhadrak block while one each was in Tihidi and Dhamnagar.

Addressing the rally, the Chief Minister said that KALIA is a historic step which has been hugely benefitting the farmers.

 

 

“All farmers enrolled in the first phase have received their financial assistance while the second phase of assistance will be credited into the accounts of farmers,” he added.

Marginal and landless farmers will be covered under the scheme while various developmental projects will be executed at a cost of Rs 15,000 crore in the district, he added.

He waved at the party workers and sought to know if they were happy.

 

Among the projects inaugurated by the CM were 132/33KV grid at Paikraypur, 33/11 KV structure at Mato, another 33/11 KV structure at Gadi, the Bhadrak-Chandbali road, Chandbali power grid, a fish processing project on the premises of Dhamra port, a road connected from Chalunia to Bhadrak-Chandbali road, a bridge across Chhatarajora, a skill development centre at Karanpalli, Nehru Children Park at Chandbali, Chandbali Swargdwar, Chandbali Stadium, a drinking water project at Khabalpokhari, Bhadrak Panthika, a women polytechnic and a circuit house.
