Bhubaneswar: A day after announcing the names of candidates for nine Lok Sabha and 54 Assembly seats, BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is all set to file his nomination papers at Hinjili in Ganjam district, Wednesday.
As per a press release issued by the BJD, Naveen will travel by helicopter to Chhatrapur and proceed to the RO office as per the model code of conduct guidelines and file his nominations.
The CM had earlier announced that he will contest from both Hinjili and Bijepur. Sources said, he might file his nomination papers in Bijepur the day after. However, nothing has been confirmed regarding the filing of the papers for the Bijepur seat.
The four-time Chief Minister is eyeing to come to power for record fifth time. However, this is the first time that he is contesting in two Assembly segments.
