Bhubaneswar: ALLEN Coaching Institute, located at Maitree Vihar in Bhubaneswar has been sealed after more than 20 of its students tested positive for COVID-19.
Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation Sunday issued an order in this regard.
In view of detection of a large number of COVID-I9 positive cases, ALLEN Coaching Institute in Maitree Vihar is being sealed until further orders, BMC said.
BMC further advised that the infected students are to be kept in isolation in separate rooms and be kept in strict observation by the institute authority. The institute will also make necessary arrangements to supply food to the infected students.
At the same time, restrictions have been imposed on free movement of students and staff of the institute. No one shall be allowed to move into or go outside the ALLEN Coaching Institute and its hostel/Mess except authorized person of BMC. The institute authorities will ensure supply of essentials and medical requirements if required, BMC ordered.
The institute authorities have been asked to inform the BMC if symptoms are visible in other students and staff so that early preventive measures can be taken.
