Cooperative Bank assistant manager under vigilance scanner

Bhadrak: Vigilance sleuths Tuesday morning raided the office and residence of Bhadrak-Balasore Central Cooperative Bank assistant manager Ajit Kumar Hota on charges of accumulating assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Acting on a tip off, a team of anti-corruption wing conducted simultaneous raids at four places including his residence at Matha Sahi in Bhadrak.

A vigilance official said Rs 2,00,000 in cash was seized from his house.

However, the exact amount of the assets accumulated by Hota is yet to be ascertained, the official added.
