Cop suspended for peeing on ATM machine

Baripada: A police constable of Mayurbhanj district has been suspended Friday after a video of him urinating on an ATM machine went viral on social media.

According to sources, police constable Samir Kumar Sethi had not reported for duty for months without prior intimation to the higher-ups. However, no action in this regards was taken against him.

Reportedly, Mayurbhanj SP Parmar Smit Parshottamdas ordered a probe in this matter and issued suspension letter to Sethi after the video of Sethi peeing on an ATM machine in an intoxicated state surfaced on social media platforms.

Sethi had also been suspended for various repulsive activities in the past, informed sources.

According to locals, the police constable serves as a constable at Baripada police station .  Two years ago, he was suspended due to a similar action. He went missing for six months soon after rejoining the force.

When locals found him in an inebriated condition inside the ATM, he was unable to balance himself and suddenly started peeing on the machine. The locals made videos of the cop in the act and shared it on social media, demanding stringent action against the culprit.
