Bhubaneswar: As many as 12 Odisha Fire Service personnel, who had gone to Kolkata for Cyclone Amphan restoration work, have tested positive for coronavirus, informed Fire Service DG Satyajit Mohanty Tuesday.
In a tweet, Mohanty said, “State government has ensured the best possible medical care. Wish the brave hearts fast recovery.”

Notably, 61 NDRF and ODRAF who returned from West Bengal for Cyclone Amphan duty also tested positive for COVID-19.
Odisha Tuesday reported 146 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally in the state to 3,140, informed the state department of information and public relations.
