Bhubaneswar: The total number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha reached 284 Saturday as Ganjam, Bhadrak and Sundargarh districts reported 14 new ones.
According to the Health and Family Welfare department, the number of active cases in Odisha stands at 219 while the number of recoveries is 63.
Out of 14 new cases reported Saturday, 12 are from Ganjam and one each from Bhadrak and Sundargarh districts.
With this, total count of COVID positive cases increased to 83 in Ganjam (all active), 25 in Bhadrak with 13 active cases and 13 in Sundargarh which has 7 active cases so far.
According to reports, the person who tested positive for COVID-19 in Bhadrak is a resident of Tihidi Block and is a Surat returnee.
