COVID-19: 210 new cases take Odisha’s tally to 5,962

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Thursday reported 210 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total tally in the state to 5,962.

Out of the 210 new cases, 174 were reported from quarantine centres while 36 are local contacts.

Khurda district report 47 new cases, Keonjhar 5, Deogarh 1, Nawarangapur 2, Nayagarh 3, Ganjam 58, Cuttack 5, Angul 1, Balasore 2, Dhenkanal 7, Jajpur 8, Puri 8, Gajapati 29, Sundargarh 6, Kendrapada 3, Sambalpur 1, Bolangir 11 and Mayurbhanj 7.

Additionally, six NDRF personnel who had returned from Cyclone Amphan duty in West Bengal also tested positive for the virus.

The total number of active cases in the state now stands at 1,815.
