Bhubaneswar: Odisha Wednesday reported 527 new cases, taking the total tally across the state to 10,624.
Six additional deaths take the toll across Odisha to 48. Ganjam district reported three deaths while Khurda, Rayagada and Kendrapada reported one each.
Out of the 527 new cases, 338 were reported from quarantine centres while 189 are local contacts.
District wise breakdown: Angul one, Balasore 26, Bargarh one, Bhadrak two, Bolangir 21, Cuttack 17, Dhenkanal one, Gajapati three, Ganjam 215, jagatsinghpur four, Jajpur 25, Jharsuguda four, Kendrapada five, Keonjhar seven, Khurda 50, Koraput six, Malkangiri three, Mayurbhanj ten, Nabarangpur three, Nayagarh 18, Nuapada four, Puri 16, Rayagada one, Sambalpur one, Sonepur 5 and Sundargarh 78.
The total number of active cases in the state now stands at 3,860.
