Bhubaneswar: Students can take admission in the Central University of Odisha (CUO), Koraput, through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET, PG), 2023, which provides a single window for admission into any of the Central Universities (CUs) from across the country, informed CUO vice-chancellor Chakradhar Tripathi Wednesday at a press conference here at the Regional Institute of Education.
Tripathi also explained the eligibility criteria, scheme of exam, exam centers, timings, fee, and the procedure for applying, information on which is also available in the information bulletin hosted on the NTA website https://cuet.nta.nic.in.
The Common University Entrance Test (PG), which is scheduled to be held in June this year, will be conducted in English and Hindi, except for the language subjects. The details of the programmes/courses offered by the Central Universities (CUs) and other participating universities are available on their respective websites as well as on the NTA website.
CUO is inviting applications for 14 postgraduate programmes this academic year, which include PG programmes: MA in Odia, MA in English, MA in Hindi, MA in Sanskrit, MA in Sociology, MA in Economics, MA in Journalism & Mass Communication, MSc in Anthropology, MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation of Natural Resources, MBA (Executive), and 2 year UG programmes: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), and 5 year Integrated M.Sc. in Mathematics.
Further, keeping in view the available resources and basic requirements of the region, the University is planning to launch new programmes in agriculture and forest management.
