Cuttack-A demolish Bhadrak

Cuttack, Feb 9: Cuttack-A thrashed Bhadrak by an innings and 84 runs in a Super League match of the U-19 Inter-District cricket tournament at the Sunshine Ground here Monday.

Put in to bat, Bhadrak were all out for a paltry 38 runs as Jamala Bhanjan Mahapatra (6/5) and Suman Mohanty(3/13) shared nine wickets among themselves. In reply, Cuttack-A declared on 168/9 with Md Akram emerging as the highest scorer. Harsheet Rathod (8/10) impressed with his bowling for Bhadrak.

In their second essay, however, Bhadrak again were bundled out for 46 as Suman Mohanty (8/10) almost single-handedly won the match for Cuttack-A.
