Cuttack: A fire broke out at dedicated Sadguru COVID hospital Monday in Jagatpur area in the outskirts of Cuttack city where COVID-19 patients were undergoing treatments.
Though the exact cause of fire is yet to be ascertained, fire brigade teams have reached the spot and started dousing the fire. Fire brigade teams suspect that short-circuit may be the reason for the fire break out.
The fire broke out in one of the ICU wards on the first floor of the COVID-19 isolation building, fire officials said. However, no casualty report has been reported yet.

The COVID-19 hospital has the capacity of 150 general beds. COVID-19 patients with kidney problems will also get dialysis treatment in the hospital. For this the hospital has 11 extra beds for the patients.
The hospital also has special facilities for expectant mothers who are COVID-19 positive. A special delivery ward was has also been installed by the hospital authorities.
