Cuttack: As many as 16 new COVID-19 cases were detected in Cuttack city under Cuttack Municipality Corporation (CMC) Monday.
Among the new cases, six cases were reported from institutional quarantine centrers, eight home quarantine cases and two local contacts.

After the fresh detection, the city’s tally has gone up to 366. Of them, 142 patients are undergoing treatment at different COVID-19 hospitals and 217 have recovered from the disease. Seven persons have so far died due to the pandemic disease.
The home quarantine cases were detected from Pristine Part Apartment near Bamphakuda, Old Rausapatna area and Metro Building near Sunshine Field. Two local contacts were reported from Dagarpada and Sutahat.
