Kandhamal: The Vigilance officials Thursday raided the houses and properties of G Udaygiri tehsil office senior clerk Susheel Kumar Senapati on allegations of amassing properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Three teams from Kandhamal Vigilance unit conducted simultaneous raids at Senapati’s residence in Phulbani, government quarters located at DRDA Colony and another house located in G Udaygiri tehsil.
During the search, the anti-graft sleuths unearthed cash worth lakhs of rupees and other important documents. The anti-corruption bureau officials are yet to assess the exact amount of the seized cash.
