Bhubaneswar, July 14: Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited, one of the leading cement producers in India, launched a new premium cement brand ‘Dalmia FBC’, marking a new chapter in the composite cement manufacturing sphere in eastern India.
The new brand was launched by senior executive director, group marketing and communications, Dalmia Bharat Group, BK Singh and executive director sales and marketing (East) Indrajit Chatterji.
On the launch of the new product, Chatterji said, “Our commitment towards producing superior quality of cement is once again reiterated by the launch of Fine Blend Composite cement. This cement ideally captures the best of both PSC (Portland Slag Cement) and PPC (Portland Pozzolona Cement) and its superior blend ensures more volume per bag. With the rising material costs, a product like Dalmia FBC Cement gives better coverage of area in every bag which leads to saving on the overall construction budget.
Also, Chatterji said that the perfect blend of slag and silica results in long term durability and provides higher compressive strength and longer service life, truly makes it the “all-rounder of cement”. “With the launch of Dalmia FBC Cement, we will ensure the highest standard of strength and endurance which underlines the improved construction efficiency,” he added.
Meanwhile, Singh believes that company is expecting a growth in the affordable and rural housing segments and infrastructure—primarily road and irrigation projects. The company is likely to maintain a demand growth momentum of around 5% in FY 2018-19.
