Hyderabad: After three back to back defeats, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is going through a crucial period. The team faced Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International cricket stadium here, Wednesday.
While the ground was full to the capacity and cheering for the home team, one special fan stole the limelight. Holding a placard at the start of the game with ‘Go Daddy’ written on it, the little girl was winning everyone’s heart.
After much guessing, it was later revealed that she was the daughter of David Warner. Not disappointing his little girl, Warner smashed 50 runs off just 25 balls. Rashid Khan’s brilliant spell of 2 for 17 off 4 overs kept Chennai Super Kings to 132 for 5 and SRH chased down the target of 133 to win their 4th match of the season.

Last year, Warner and Steve Smith were given one-year bans over their role in the ball-tampering scandal. Warner came back for SRH with a bang and is the leading scorer in the 2019 IPL while Smith has struggled to find his touch again.
David Warner has already hit a hundred in the 2019 IPL and with Jonny Bairstow, has provided a formidable opening partnership for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Speaking at the post-match presentation, he said, “I have two beautiful children, one more on the way, and a beautiful wife and I can’t thank them enough. I have fantastic support from over the world and it has been overwhelming here in India.”
