Koraput: Dawn to dusk bandh in undivided Koraput district has put normal life of the track Tuesday.
The lawyers who have been on a cease work strike have called the bandh demanding the permanent bench of Odisha High Court.
Educational institutions and business establishments downed their shutters in Koraput, Nabarangpur, Malkangiri and Rayagada. Vehicles are off the road as members of various lawyers’ association staged picketing at various strategic points.
While district Congress and Jeypore MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati had already extended their support to the bandh call, later BJP and BJD came in support of the bandh.
