Dealer pays double for 27-year-old Suzuki bike; here’s why

Suzuki Samurai was one of the most popular two-stroke bikes in 1990s. There are people who still use it and are keeping it in good condition. However, with the advancement in the automobile sector, their demand decreased. But these days, such bikes are popular as they have become rare.

Recently, a video of a Suzuki Samurai went viral. It is in such good condition that the dealership replaced it for almost double the price the customer originally paid. The video has been shared by Mr. Motor Vault on his YouTube channel.

In this video, the vlogger talks to a representative of a TVS dealership in Kerala. The customer of this motorcycle had actually purchased the bike from the same dealer about 27 years ago when it was still a TVS Suzuki dealership. After purchasing the motorcycle, the customer ensured that all service and maintenance work on it was done at the official service centre.

The dealership representative mentions that the customer has not used any other brand of bike in all these years. The dealership staff can be heard saying that they have recently received the motorcycle from the customer through an exchange. However, the video does not reveal which bike the customer chose after abandoning his trusty old two-stroke motorcycle.

In the video, the dealership staff says that they offered an exchange value of Rs 41,000. When the customer purchased this motorcycle 27 years ago, its on-road value was Rs 21,000. A video related to this is going viral on social media.
