Mumbai: After her marriage with Bollywood heartthrob Ranveer Singh, this year would be Deepika Padukone’s first Holi with her husband and in-law’s.
But, if reports are to go by, she is going to miss playing Holi with her beau as she is busy with her shooting schedule. Reports surfaced that she has already started shooting for Chhapaak.
During an interview, when Deepika was asked about her Holi preparation, she said, “shooting of Chhapaak has started from this Monday and on the day of Holi I have to leave for Delhi. So this time there will be no celebration, only the preparation will be done.”
Talking about the film Chhapaak, it is based on acid attack Survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Deepika will be playing the character of Laxmi.
Deepika is in Delhi for her role. Apart from Deepika, Vikrant Massey will be in lead role. The film will be directed by Meghna Gulzar and Deepika is the co-producer of the film.
Deepika took to Instagram to share a picture of the first reading of Chhapaak’s script with co-actor Vikrant Massey.
Deepika captioned the picture, “All things are ready, if our mind be so-William Shakespeare #Chhapaak @meghnagulzar @foxstarhindi @vikrantmassey87.”
