Things are going pretty good for Deepika Padukone and her husband Ranveer Singh after their marriage. While Ranveer is basking on the super success of latest release Simmba, Deepika is taking her own time and selecting movies.
Earlier, reports surfaced that Deepika Padukone was approached for Kapil Dev’s biopic 83. But, the actress reportedly rejected the role as it had nothing new to offer.
This makes sure that Ranveer Singh and his lovely wife Deepika Padukone will not be seen together sharing the screen space in 2019, there is definitely something to cheer for the fans of Deepika and Ranbir Kapoor. Reports are rife that the two might come together for Luv Ranjan’s next.
According to reports, Luv Ranjan’s next which would feature Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead will also have Deepika Padukone as the female lead. The report also stated that despite solid male stars, Ranjan’s film has a terrific role for the female lead.
The report added that although Deepika is the first choice for the role, she is yet to give her nod for the film. The Luv Ranjan film begins shooting in mid-2019. By then Deepika would be done with her film ‘Chhapaak’ directed by Meghna Gulzar.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is busy shooting for Brahmastra with his alleged girlfriend Alia Bhatt. It also stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
