For some time now Indian cricketer KL Rahul and Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty are grabbing attention for their alleged romance. However, both the ‘Hero’ actress and the star batsman have remained tight-lipped about their budding romance.
Meanwhile, fashion designer and film producer Vikram Phadnis has let the cat out of the bag with his not-so-subtle hints on social media.
Athiya, who made her debut with the 2015 film Hero, found herself in a spot when Vikram Phadnis pulled her leg over her romance with KL Rahul. It all began after Athiya Shetty posted an inspiration quote on Instagram which read, ‘Trust the timing of your life’.
Vikram Phadnis soon commented, “You seem to be v hyper and excited these days ??? Let’s go to KL ???….. Kuala Lumpur (sic).” To which, Athiya Shetty replied, “@vikramphadnis TIME to block you!”
Vikram, however, wasn’t ready to let the conversation end. He added, “I will complain to the UMPIRE !! @athiyashetty and once your WICKET is gone… it’s back to the pavilion !!! (sic).” He later added, “Am sure !!!! @athiyashetty !!! What about the timing btw !!!!!!!!”
Buzz has it that Athiya and KL Rahul, met through common friends and have been dating each other for a few months now.
