Dharmendra Pradhan tests positive for COVID-19, hospitalised

New Delhi: Union petroleum and natural gas minister Dharmendra Pradhan has tested positive for COVID-19. He has been admitted to Medanta Hospital in Haryana’s Gurugram, a highly places source said Tuesday.

Pradhan the second union minister to have tested positive for the deadly disease after home minister Amit Shah. Incidentally, Shah also has been admitted to the same hospital where Pradhan is being treated for coronavirus.

Shah and Pradhan apart, several other top leaders of BJP have tested positive for the disease in last few days. Among them are Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and BJP’s UP unit chief Swatantra Dev Singh.

Among other, Tamil Nadu governor Banwarilal Purohit has also tested COVID positive.
