New Delhi: Disha Ravi, the 22-year-old activist arrested in the ‘Toolkit’ case was sent to five days of judicial custody by a court here Sunday. Now police are on the lookout for two other activists – Nikita Jacob and Shantanu Muluk. Apparently the three held a meeting over Zoom before the Republic day. They were planning to do something on the social media regarding the tractor rally organised by the farmers on Republic Day.

Police said Tuesday at a media conference here Tuesday that they are looking for both Nikita and Shantanu. Warrants are out against them and the charges are non-bailable. Nikita has already approached the Bombay High Court for protection from the arrest for four weeks.

Police said Puneet, a Canada-based woman, had put Nikita, Disha and Shantanu in touch with ‘Poetic Justice Foundation’. They had a zoom meeting January 11.

Evidence against Disha was found from her cellphone data, the police informed. They claimed that she, Nikita and Shantanu had created the ‘Toolkit’ and shared it with others for editing. Shantanu’s email account is the owner of the toolkit Google doc, the police added

Regarding allegations that Disha, a college graduate from Bangalore, was arrested and taken to Delhi without the knowledge of her parents, the police said ‘all guidelines were followed’. “Disha was arrested in the presence of her mother, SHO from local police, and a female officer,” an officer of Delhi police said.
