Earlier in many interviews, Kangana had claimed that Sonu Sood was not happy about the fact that he was working under a female director. She even claimed that the actor was trying to malign the film’s image as he was no longer the part of it.

While, Sonu Sood, on the other hand, told a news portal that he never had any qualms working under a female director because he has already done a movie with a female director Farah Khan – ‘Happy New Year’. He added that he only said that he cannot be working with two directors on one set.

It was later revealed that Manikarnika was actually directed by Telugu director Krrish. However, Kangana used to interfere in his works which created differences following which Krrish opted out of the movie.

Krrish had directed almost 70% of the movie and Kangana took over the remaining 30%, sources said. This has not gone well with Sonu Sood fans who called her out for her hypocrisy. While Kangana is blaming others, she herself is playing the victim and women’s card, some fans commented.
