Bhubaneswar: In the run-up to the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Odisha, Union External Affairs Minister and BJP leader S Jaishankar Saturday landed in Bhubaneswar on a two-day visit to the state.
Jaishankar will address an intellectual meeting in Bhubaneswar in the evening and attend a party meeting in Cuttack Sunday.
The Union Minister is also scheduled to address another intellectual meet in Sambalpur in western Odisha Sunday.
BJP national president JP Nadda is also scheduled to arrive Sunday to address the party leaders and workers in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack to discuss election strategies for both the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the state.
However, all eyes are on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is scheduled to address two public meetings, one each at Berhampur and Nabarangpur May 6.
Both Berhampur and Nabarangpur Lok Sabha seats are going to polls May 13, along with Kalahandi and Koraput Lok Sabha seats, besides 28 Assembly seats under these four parliamentary constituencies.
