Bhubaneswar: Re-polling will be held in nine booths in Odisha Thursday April 25, Chief Electoral Officer Surendra kumar said here Tuesday.
The Election Commission of India has ordered re-polling in nine booths as per the recommendations of the Chief Electoral Officer.
Election to these booths could not be held during the second phase of election in Odisha on April 18 last due to wrong connection of EVM with VVPAT machines and for few other issues.
The nine booths where repolling would be held are –Uparpada Kendrikela UG UP School under Bonai constituency, Rangadhipa UP School under Sundargarh constituency, Bahadajhola and Betanati under Daspalla constituency, Areigudi under Attabira Assembly constituency, Shakti Nagar Primary School under Bargarh Assembly constituency, Dava under Padampur Assembly constituency Brajarajnagar under Brajarajnagar Assembly constituency, Renti under Sorada Assembly constituency.
