ECoR cancels, diverts trains

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) Sunday cancelled and diverted several trains in the Vijayawada Division following heavy rains that flooded the railway tracks at various places. The trains which were cancelled are 20809 Sambalpur – Nanded Express, 20810 NandedSambalpur Express, 18520 LTTVisakhapatnam Express, 20833 Visakhapatnam – Secunderabad Express from Visakhapatnam, 20834 Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam Express and 20707/20708 Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam – Secunderabad Express. Similary, 20819 Puri-Okha Express was diverted from Puri Sunday and will run Via Khurda Road, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Titilagarh, Raipur, Nagpur and Wardha. 11020 Bhubaneswar – Mumbai Konark Express was diverted from Bhubaneswar Sunday and will run via Bijayawada, Guntur, and Secunderabad. 12803 Visakhapatnam – Nizamuddin Express from Visakhapatnam will run via Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Titilagarh and Raipur-Nagpur. 18520 LTT-Visakhapatnam Express from LTT will run via Secunderabad, Pagidipalli and Guntur. 12804 Nizamuddin – Visakhapatnam Express from Nizamuddin will run via Nagpur, Raipur, Titilagarh, Rayagada and Vizianagaram. 11019 Mumbai – Bhubaneswar Konark Express from Mumbai will run via Secunderabad, Pagidipalli, Guntur and Vijayawada. The South Central Railway authorities have also requested passengers to check the status of their trains before planning their journeys and have expressed regret for the inconvenience caused by these cancellations.
