Bhubaneswar: The East-Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to extend the Rourkela Intra-State Express train service till December 31, 2020. The train travels from Rourkela to the state capital.
In a release, the ECoR said that the services of Rourkela Intra-State Express (Train No: 02861/02862) will leave from Rourkela at 05.10 hours daily except Saturdays and Sundays and will reach at Bhubaneswar at 12.30 hours.
In the return direction, 02862 Down will leave from Bhubaneswar at 14.10 hours daily and will reach Rourkela at 21.40 hours.
This train will stop at the following stations. They are Rajagangpur, Bamara, Jharsuguda, Rengali, Sambalpur City, Rairakhol, Boinda, Angul, Talcher Road, Dhenkanal and Naraj Marthapur while travelling in either direction.
On the other hand in view of the safety-related modernisation work for commissioning of doubling work between Bolangir and Loisingha, the ECoR has has said that the Bhubaneswar-Bolangir Inter City special train service will be partially affected from October 9 to October 18, 2020.
The 02893/02894 Bhubaneswar-Bolangir-Bhubaneswar Inter City Special will run between Bhubaneswar and Bargarh Road. However, it will not continue till Bolangir on the above mentioned dates.
