Cuttack: Prakash Dilla scored the all important goal in the 26th minute to guide East Coast Railways (ECoR) to a narrow 1-0 win against Bidanasi Club in a match of FAO 1st Division football league here Saturday at the Barabati Stadium.
It was a hard-fought match, but failed to rise to good heights because slushy ground conditions made it impossible to play proper football. Many a time, the passes got stuck in the mud making life very difficult for the players.
In another match of the day, Young Utkal Club got a walkover as their opponents Independent Club failed to turn up.

Football Association of Odisha (FAO) announced a 20-member state team Saturday for the sub-junior nationals to be played at Patna, September 4-9. Anil Toppo has been appointed as the skipper of the Odisha team. The team left for venue from here, Saturday.
