Bhubaneswar: In a major reshuffle of IAS and senior OAS cadres, the state government Friday transferred 23 officers including eight collectors.
A notification issued by the General Administration (GA) department said, Mahendra Kumar Mallik has been appointed as Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) northern division-Sambalpur with additional charge of RDC central division- Cuttack while Girish SN is the new managing director of Odisha State Cooperative Bank.
The new collectors of eight districts are– Dasarathi Satpathy (Kendrapara), Madhusudan Mishra (Sonepur), Aravind Agrawal (Cuttack), Sudhansu Mohan Samal (Deogarh), Kulange Vijay Amruta (Ganjam), Gavali Parag Harshad (Kalahandi), Jyotiprakash Das (Puri) and Sitanshu Kumar Rout (Boudh).
The government has posted DV Swamy as new director employment and CEO of Odisha Skill development Authority (OSDA) while Patil Rajesh Pravakar is the new tourism director, Anjan Kumar Manik is labour commissioner, Susanta Mohapatra is director-social security and empowerment of persons with disabilities (SSEPD) and Amendra Kumar Pattnaik is MD Bayanika.
Similarly, Prem Chandra Choudhury has been placed as in-charge director special projects in panchayati raj department whereas agriculture director M Muthukumar and fisheries director Prasant Kumar Senapati have been given additional charge of horticulture director and animal husbandry and veterinary services director respectively.
Tourism director Jawale Nitin Bhanudas has been placed as additional secretary in industries department, Srikanta Prusty as the new additional secretary of handlooms, textile and handicrafts department, Bijay Ketan Upadhyaya as joint secretary in health department and Raghu G as deputy secretary in water resources department.
Besides, Nilagiri sub-collector Aboli Sunil has been given the additional charge of project administrator (PA) of Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), Nilagiri.
