Bhubaneswar: A floodgate of comments and engagements from the netizens seemed to have opened up with the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik unveiling the logo of the Ekamra Sports Literary Festival on Twitter Friday.
Since the launch of the logo and after knowing about the array of sports luminaries who are scheduled to speak at the two-day special sports literary fest, several netizens started engaging themselves in news related to the mega event. Many of them are now sharing information on the fest, while others are expressing their views on the event.
The tweet of the Chief Minister unveiling the logo of the event itself has got 679 likes till date. While unveiling the logo, the Chief Minister had tweeted, “Happy to share insignia of Ekamra Sports Literary Festival 2018. The festival is a unique initiative and brings forth multifaceted links of sports along with arts and culture. Smart City Bhubaneswar and Odisha look forward to welcoming the participants of the fest.”
An American reporter based in Brazil wrote on his social media site, “Scotsman on the Subcontinent: Folks in India, don’t miss a rare chance to catch the excellent journalist and author Andrew Downie talk about his new book at the Ekamra Sports Literature Festival.”
“The mega event Ekamra Sports Literary Festival, Asia’s largest and most prestigious sports literature festival, will be held November 2 and 3 as a precursor to the Hockey World Cup being hosted in Bhubaneswar later this year. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik would inaugurate the festival,” said another user Sita Nandi on microblogging site Twitter.
Another social media user, Rajesh Sahoo tried to draw the attention of the users on the social media regarding the event. He wrote in his post, “Asia’s first sports literature festival to be held in Bhubaneswar November 2 and 3, 2018. The festival is named Ekamra Sports Literary Festival.”
“The mega event Ekamra Sports Literary Festival, Asia’s largest and most prestigious Sports Literature Festival,” wrote another social media users named Sanjaj Sahoo.
