Mumbai: The key Indian equity indices opened in the green on Friday tracking a rise in the Asian markets.
At 9.24 a.m, the wider Nifty50 of the National Stock Exchange traded at 10,994 points, higher by 16.45 points or 0.15 per cent from its previous close.
The S&P BSE Sensex, which had opened at 36,452.74, traded at 36,402.74 points, up by 78.57 points or 0.22 per cent from its previous close at 36,324.17 points on Thursday.
So far, it has touched an intra-day high of 36,511.39 points and a low of 36,406.84 points.
