Bhubaneswar: The publication of Plus II results is likely to be delayed as the evaluation of answer scripts was adversely affected in Fani-hit coastal districts, sources said. Although offline evaluation has resumed, e-evaluation process is yet to be taken up in full swing, said the sources.
According to the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) authorities, e-evaluation has resumed in Cuttack and Dhenkanal centres, Tuesday. There are seven e-evaluation centres in the state.
“The offline evaluation process will be completed within a week. However, evaluation has not commenced at three centres including one each at Bhubaneswar and Khurda. General elections and cyclone Fani hampered the evaluation process,” said CHSE deputy examination controller Prashant Das.
Efforts were underway to complete the evaluation process at the earliest, Das added.
“Despite all odds, we hope to announce the results of Plus II science examination by the end of this month and results for Plus II Commerce and Arts in June,” added Das.
