Mumbai: India’s ambitious moon mission was left incomplete after Vikram lander of the Chandrayaan-2 lost communication contact with the ground centre. However, Indians remain undeterred by the setback and are confident enough that the nation will achieve its goal of reaching the moon.
Meanwhile, fans of cricket legend MS Dhoni became nostalgic and compared the Chandrayaan-2 mission with MS Dhoni’s runout in World Cup. A picture of MS Dhoni being runout by 1.2 inches and Chandrayaan-2 missing Moon by 2.1 Km is now being labelled as the two most heartbreaking pictures of 2019.
It was heartbreak when Chandrayaan-2’s lander ‘Vikram’ lost contact with ground control, around 2.1 km from the lunar surface. Not so long back, it was the same feeling for an Indian when Dhoni was run out to a freak throw from the deep by Martin Guptill during Semi Final match.
