First selection merit list for Plus III courses announced, BJB (Autonomous) College takes the cake

Bhubaneswar: The first selection merit list for admission into Plus III courses for the academic year 2020-22 was announced Monday by Higher Education Department of Odisha.

According to a source, for 1,029 colleges of Odisha around 2,12,998 students had applied for admission into various Under Graduate courses of Arts, Science and Commerce streams.

Students will have to log in to the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal to get their first merit list result.

Bhubaneswar-based BJB College topped the list in various honours courses in the Science stream.

While in Mathematics the first cut-off mark for admission is 95.2 per cent, for Physics it is 95 per cent and for Chemistry it is 94.6 per cent.

The second merit list will be declared October 8.

On the other hand the higher education department has asked all the degree colleges for an active help desk, internet center and uninterrupted electricity service.
