Balasore: A significant development took place recently in Fakir Mohan University here as Bazarside Pvt Ltd, a user-friendly retail automation app company, joined forces with the FMU-TBI by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration signifies a strong commitment to fostering a vibrant startup ecosystem within the state. The MoU signing ceremony was a testament to this joint effort. Kukumina Das, Registrar of FM University, signed the MoU in the presence of Santosh Kumar Tripathy, the Vice Chancellor. Additionally, Pankaj Kumar Parhi, Coordinator of TBI, and Sunendu Nayak, Chief Operating Officer of FMU-TBI, witnessed the signing.
Notably, Kuldeep Pradhan, one of Bazarside’s directors, represented the company during this momentous occasion. This MoU paves the way for valuable support for Bazarside, including mentorship, guidance, and resources from FMU-TBI, to help them scale their operations and achieve their vision of empowering local retailers in tier 2, 3, and 4 cities across India. Bazarside is a start-up company that pioneers to design of a user-friendly retail automation app and a comprehensive franchise-cum-partner programme. It has been designed to empower local, independent retailers, specifically targeting tier 2, 3 & 4 cities in India. The ceremony was witnessed by COF, Karan Soren, COE Ranjan Kumar Ray, Development Officer Prof Pabitra Mohan Nayak, and other faculty members from various departments.
