Bhubaneswar: Former Congress MLA Judhistir Samantaray passed away Monday while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.
Sources said that he was unwell for a long time. He was recently shifted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar after his condition deteriorated. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Notably, Samantaray was elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly as a Congress candidate from the Pipili Assembly seat. He also served as the chairman of Pipili Block.
