Bhubaneswar, Feb 3: Friends Paradise, Jatani defeated United Sports, Club Rourkela 4-3 via the penalty shoot-out in the second group B quarterfinal tie here Tuesday to move to the second semifinal of the Jadupur Cup football tournament.
Saroj Maharana of the Friends Paradise won the man of the match award for his excellent performance during the game., even as both the teams failed to score in the regulation time. Friends Paradise will now play against Sports Hostel, Cuttack in the second semifinal Wednesday.
