Cuttack: East Coast Railway (ECoR) general manager Parmeshwar Funkwal inspected the ongoing infrastructure works in Cuttack-Paradip and Paradip-Haridaspur railway sections here, Friday. During the visit, Funkwal reviewed the works related to traffic facility in Paradip and inspected different railway sidings under the sections. Funkwal stressed on hassle-free railway operations and improvement in mobility in both the railway sections and Paradip Port area. He also reviewed different ongoing developmental works and advised to expedite the ongoing projects. The general manager also emphasised on maintaining close coordination with Paradip Port Trust and other nearby industries to optimise operations, for the effective utilisation of assets for all stakeholders. Divisional railway manager of Khurda Road HS Bajwa and senior officials from different departments accompanied Funkwal during the inspection.
