Keonjhar: A flying squad comprising excise officials from Bhadrak, Balasore and Cuttack districts Tuesday seized a huge cache of ganja worth Rs 10 lakh at Mareigaon village near Hatadihi in Keonjhar district.
While Kanhu Jena, who had carrying the contraband escaped, the police have detained his wife for interrogation.
Notably, 546 kg of ganja was seized in Malkangiri district and nine persons were arrested, a senior police officer said Monday.
