Bhubaneswar: Former finance minister Prafulla Chandra Ghadei rubbished the claims of expelled MLA Damodar Rout that he had contacted him over the formation of new regional political party. Ghadei also claimed he has nothing to do with the formation of any regional party.
“I am disappointed to hear whatever Dama babu had said about me. We worked together but as of now I don’t know why Dama babu is creating too much smoke while there is no fire,” said Ghadei, who was also expelled from the party.
“I am not under pressure. Nor do I have ever contacted anyone since I lost my ministerial berth,” he said.
He further clarified it that the act of dragging his name into controversy is tarnishing his reputation. He is keen neither to contest the elections nor associate himself in any kind of politics in future, he added.
