Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP leader Bijoy Mohapatra Sunday alleged that deceased lady teacher Mamita Meher and prime accused Gobinda Sahu met at minister Dibya Shankar Mishra’s Raipur residence to solve their differences.
“The entire episode started two months ago. Efforts were made to settle the issue. Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra, Gobinda Sahu and the deceased lady teacher had tried to find a way out to settle the issue between Meher and Sahu at the Minister’s residence in Raipur, but nothing cut the ice,” said Mohapatra.
Laying emphasis on taking the telephone call records of Minister Mishra, Sahu and Meher into the purview of investigation, he further said, “To my knowledge, the police have examined some call records of Dibya Shankar Mishra and in a ‘sealed cover’ informed Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik about the findings.
Notably, the BJP has given a 12-hour Mayurbhanj bandh call Monday, pressing for fulfilment of 16-point charter of demands including the ouster of minister Dibya Shankar Mishra in connection with the murder of Mamita Meher.
