BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla Saturday said that the remaining matches of the T20 league will be played in UAE. “IPL has been moved to UAE for this season,” he said.
In the Special General Meeting (SGM) of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), it has been decided that the remaining matches of IPL-2021 will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The IPL was rescheduled May 4th after several players and staff members of IPL teams started testing positive for Covid-19 in the second wave of the virus.
Notably, the last match of the season was played May 2nd between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals.
