Gopalpur: Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange inaugurated a novel scheme ‘Mo Gopalpur Program’, Friday. What makes it special is its noble objective which aims at cleaning the shorelines of Gopalpur beach.
While addressing the public, especially the youngsters, Kulange said “the opportunity comes here to do our part and pledge towards a cleaner environment.” He further said, “leave plastics and polythene and it will make our beach a clean one.” Kulange advised the shopkeepers on the beach to use environmental friendly bags and serving plates instead of plastic as the tourists are more attracted towards a clean beach. Your business will grow automatically, he said.
Berhampur MP Chandra Sekhar Sahoo said, “The aim of this initiative is to raise awareness among all to keep the beaches tidy and litter free.
