Cuttack: Odisha Ranji captain Govind Poddar (78) and Amrit Khatua (91) played useful innings to steer Rourkela to a whopping 211-run win against Angul in a match of Kalahandi Cup cricket tournament at Nimpur cricket ground here, Tuesday.
Electing to bat, Rourkela rode on knocks from Govind and Amrit to post 292 runs for the lost of eight wickets in their 45 overs. In reply, Angul were shot out for paltry 81 runs in 22.4 overs with Amit Das (4/25) and Govind Tandia (4/9) doing maximum damage.
