Bhubaneswar: The Union government has decided that two of the central ministers will inaugurate the Bhubaneswar-Nayagarh Sewa Express which is slated to connect the two nearby cities and cater to the needs of the population travelling between these stations.
As per the decision of the Ministry of Railways it will introduce a daily Sewa Express train between Bhubaneswar and Nayagarh Town from October 15, 2019. The inaugural run of this train will commence from Bhubaneswar at 1.30pm on that day.
As per the plan, Union Minister of Railways and Minister of Commerce & Industries Piyush Goyal will flag off the Bhubaneswar-Nayagarh Town Sewa Express through videoconferencing from New Delhi on that day along with other 9 Sewa trains in different parts of the country. Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas and Steel, Dharmendra Pradhan will also attend the occasion at New Delhi through videoconferencing.
Other public representatives like MPs and MLAs will also attend the inaugural ceremony to be held at Bhubaneswar Railway Station.
