Keonjhar: An assessment committee of Guinness World Records Friday said that they will make necessary recommendations to certify Keonjhar’s Nandighosha as the world’s tallest chariot.
The team had assessed the chariot of Lord Balabhadra stationed in front of Baladevjew temple at Old town of Keonjhar earlier in the day. This chariot, also known as ‘Nandighosha’ is 72 feet high.
The assessment team also videographed the height and circumference of the chariot apart from holding discussions with experts through video conferencing before they made the statement on Nandighosha here being the tallest one.
While it has already found its place in five record books including Limca Book of Records as the tallest chariot in the world, people have been demanding the Guinness Book of Records to accord the tallest status on this.
“A place in the Guinness Book of Records means it would be known globally,” a local man said.
