Guru Randhawa to perform in city

Bhubaneswar: Ban ja tu meri rani-famed Punjabi playback singer Guru Randhawa will entertain music aficionados in capital city at Janata Maidan, May 27. Bollyboom, the world’s first and biggest Hindi film Dance Music Property of Percept Live, is organising the event, giving the music lovers here an opportunity to witness his live performance.
Talking to the media Saturday, Ankit Mohanty of DreamKraft Entertainment, the local organisers, said, “We have received an overwhelming response from the people of Odisha. It will be an opportunity for youngsters here to experience and feel Guru Randhawa’s music live.”

The Guru Randhawa India Tour will see the audience grooving to his popular tracks, including ‘High Rated Gabru,’ which crossed 345 million listeners, ‘Ban Ja Rani’ from the movie Tumhari Sulu, ‘Yaar Mod Do’, ‘Patola’, ‘Fashion’, and ‘Lahore’.

Guru Randhawa made his playback debut in Hindi films with the song Suit in the movie ‘Hindi Medium’. The singer is currently trending with youngsters across social media platforms. He has already bagged the “Best Male Debut” and “Best Duo Song” award at the PTC Music Awards in 2014 and 2016 respectively.
